What is Wisp Client?
A Minecraft Java client in development, centred on a customisable client-side companion and world-space menus. The prototype includes avatar styling, follow behaviour and locally saved locations.
Can other players see my Wisp?
The companion is rendered locally on your client. It doesn’t require a second Minecraft account or a companion entity installed on the server. Multiplayer compatibility testing is still limited.
What do I need to run it?
Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11, Java 21, Fabric Loader and the matching Fabric API. The licensing build requires internet access for activation and recurring checks.
Will the one-month plan renew automatically?
No. The £7.99 base-price option is one payment for one calendar month of access from first activation. There is no automatic renewal.
Can I purchase or download Wisp now?
You can preorder a licence and receive your key after confirmed payment. Client binaries and source remain private; no downloads are available and no public release date has been announced. The one-month clock starts on first activation in Minecraft, not on purchase.
What happens if I change computers?
Claim your key, copy the new installation’s device code from the JAR and request a reset in the dashboard. Staff approval binds that installation. Approved resets have a 7-day cooldown. This version uses an installation ID, not physical hardware serials.
Is the AI companion connected?
No. The visible companion and interaction systems work in the prototype. AI conversations, voice and autonomous tasks are planned features, not connected services.
